I had my “Ah Ha” moment when I read the book Financial Peace, by Dave Ramsey. It was 2001 and I was Vice President of Consumer Lending at Kirkpatrick Bank, but I felt dissatisfied with my career path. I needed to use my bachelor’s degree in economics for a better purpose. I wanted to help people stop borrowing money and start saving money. I completed my training and licensing and became a Financial Advisor in 2002. Now I help my clients prioritize their financial goals and implement strategies to pursue them through individualized financial plans. Helping others with their goals has helped me reach mine as well. I finally got the pony I’ve been wishing for since I was seven years old!
